This project reimagines the brand experience for Bio Marine, one of Iran’s most reputable and well-established product lines in the beauty and wellness field, through the creation of BioYou Academy. This dedicated space serves as a cornerstone for brand advocacy and product immersion. Our goal was to blend visual identity with spatial design to craft a cohesive environment where the Bio Marine brand ethos is communicated not just through training, but through the very form and function of the space.

The BioYou Academy is a thoughtfully designed environment for training key beauty salon owners, equipping them to become knowledgeable advocates for Bio Marine products. Here, the emphasis on “You” highlights the importance of personal connection, aligning with the brand’s focus on individual well-being and empowerment. The central symbol of the brand, the “Y” in the BioYou logo, acts as a conceptual anchor, embodying ideas of liberation and individuality. This “Y” becomes a dynamic, recurring motif within the space, inspiring an array of unique furniture pieces that function as variations on a theme, each embodying distinct roles yet sharing a unified visual language.

In this project, the interaction between visual identity and interior elements becomes a central theme, creating a seamless flow between branding and physical space. Each piece in the BioYou collection interprets the “Y” motif uniquely, with forms and functions echoing variations on a central theme, choreographing the space and guiding the user’s movement through a fluid, immersive environment.

This BioYou collection consists of five custom-designed pieces: a reception desk, display stand, vanity table, trolley, and coffee table. Each piece embodies a unique “variation” on the “Y” motif, tailored to fulfill specific functional needs. In the display stands, the branched “Y” shapes extend into vertical planes ideal for showcasing products at multiple levels, while in the mobile trolley, the “Y” branches translate horizontally to create practical, accessible surfaces. In the vanity table, sections of the “Y” shape influence spatial orientation, unifying the arrangement of these family pieces to encourage interaction and exploration from different perspectives and heights.

Fabricated with a contour technique, each furniture piece features grooves that appear as rhythmic, graduated lines, moving from top to bottom or left to right. These grooves begin as distinct contour lines, softening and blending back into a unified form at the edges. The result is a fluid aesthetic where the extensions of the “Y” emerge and fade, bringing a dynamic quality to the furniture’s design.

Through these carefully crafted pieces and the alignment of BioYou’s visual identity with functional design, we have transformed separate points within the educational space into an interconnected environment. This academy is not just a place for training but a unified, immersive brand experience—an ecosystem of “variations” that speak to the brand’s identity from every angle.
