The commercial extension of the Namak Abroud Telecabine links the two existing telecabine stations to the commercial centre and the landscape. The initial brief to design a new facade for an existing box-like structure was re-evaluated by MARZ into the proposal for a cascading landscape that creates a new plaza, revives the rooftops and opens up the facade. The wide ribbons that form the V shape roofs tie the new extension to the prominent existing telecabine station. The ribbons extend horizontally along the facade and create new terraces that are open and make a deep and lively facade.
